You must have known by reading the title that this blog post is going to be all about beaches but what day what it exactly, our second day in Mauritius!

Relaxing and grocery shopping were the main two things that we mainly did on our first day and the next day, it was about visiting the nearest spot to our accommodation which was just 15-20 minutes away, Flic en Flac beach!

Local stalls and activities were there too, right before the beach. However, it was extremely hot out there and hence we didn’t really spend that much time on the beach and decided to go to a restaurant for the time being and then come back.

We found a flowing water body surrounded by trees and deep greens! Spent some time here standing and slipping and then headed towards the car!

We did, to a restaurant with a french name that I do not remember honestly and spent some of our time here while eating our meal and then, back to the same beach as it felt much pleasant now!

Your first spot and that too a beach! It just feels amazing and its the time when even your subconscious mind knows that its time to enjoy to the fullest! The beach was absolutely empty by now and it was just the four of us! We enjoyed, clicked a lott of photographs and by the way, it was 9th of April! It was my sister’s day the next day! The water, sand, light blue sky and pleasant wind! Anything else we needed? No! The vibe was just perfectly relaxing! So, Flic en Flac beach in Mauritius, tick!

After a while, the light blue sky was happening to be dark and now we knew that its time for dinner as every restaurant and shop here closes early!

That too, the restaurants in this area majorly served local and non vegetarian food so we decided to go to Port Louis, the district with a typical city vibe and all the franchisees which means a lot of variety and heavy, quality meals!

However, reaching there especially as my father was driving the car and the route on the app seemed quite confusing hence took more than an hour to reach!

It was absolutely worth it though as we had our Indian food options! We ate pizza, wraps and chole bhature here!

This was it and then we headed back to our accommodation!

It was a short yet a serene day for me!
