One Of My Favourite Days Spent In Mauritius This Day Was! After An Entire Week Of A Lot Of Travel And Exertion, Breathing In Such A Place Was All We Needed 🤍

Just Before My Father Took The Car To The Exact Spot, We Had A Few Moments At The Place Where This Humongous Statue Of Goddess Durga Was Situated.

The Main Sight Of Grand Bassin, Also Known As Ganga Talao Is The Beautiful Lake That Looks Even More Picturesque When Seen Along With The Lush Greens And Colourful Hindu Culture Based Architectures, Temples, Upstairs.

Bell Has A Significance In Temples As They Make Your Mind Receptive And Is Usually Seen In The Entrance To Welcome People And The Good Spirits.

Once We Got Down Through The Stairs, This Huge Lake And The Seating Area Was Just A Perfect Spot To Unwind And Relax, The Water Was Just So Soothing. I Felt A Sense Of Tranquility Here And How Could I Not..This Place Had Such A Divine And Calm Energy. This Place Does Have The Presence Of The God And Goddesses, We Felt.

A Step Up And There Was A Temple.

“Your sacred space is where you can find yourself again and again.” -Joseph Campbell

This was not it! Nearby there were other temples and viewpoints situated too that we visited.

This was the view after we walked on trekking steps for five minutes. This view was my favourite view of the day! It was breathtaking! I mean…just look at the divine, colourful nature!

Next was this place where beautiful idols of Ganesha, Sai Baba and Lakshmi Devi and Vishnu bhagwaan were seen here. We also looked at a few white ducks.

It was time to leave for the resort now and we covered the other viewpoints that were near!
