Exploring the mystical Tanah Lot temple

Ever spent a day at a place with beautiful views of the mountain up and the view of the beautiful water body ahead? Explored the rock temple and beautiful architecture and then went to the beach within the same spot? We have!

This mystical temple in Bali resides in the Tabanan regency, we had a fun two wheeler ride from our resort to this spot!

When we were getting there, We could see a line of small local shops and they had quite interesting stuff so we decided to look at it afterwards. It was a hot and sunny day so we decided to first refresh ourselves with Young Coconut Water, actually having a Young coconut means having a Large one than the normal one. These young coconuts were really our best and the only energy drink during the whole trip and after this we felt instantly refreshed!

Then we moved on and stopped after entering the balinese gate, Candi Bentar- a traditional entrance to a temple or palace.

We had a beautiful time near the sea of this beautiful tanah lot temple, the weather was just perfect! The feeling when the waves of the water touches the feet is indescribable! After a while we visited the temple with an exterior made of rocks, just beside the sea. Near this temple, there was also a cave where the snake along with a priest sat. We went there as well and the priest asked us to touch the snake. It was a little frightening but there was nothing to get frightened about.

The sun went down and it was getting a little dark, we stood on the rock and looked at the sea. This is the time when the waves get larger. We enjoyed the most during this time- the large waves of water getting splashed on the face, the soft wind, the weather…It was dark but yet we were there, we kept our phones down and just gazed at the beautiful view and Balinese architecture designs and enjoyed the moment to the most!!

It was time now, we sat on the scooters and moved out of this area. But we did stop at the local shops in this place to do a little shopping!
