Butterfly Park- Bali -

A garden full of butterflies is always lovely but this blog isn’t about that! Because this place in Bali has not just the butterflies but so many other mind blowing creatures that you’ll get to know in a short while!

I remember us enjoying in the pool outside our villa and then get ready to explore this park located in Tabanan! It was really sunny yet the perfect time as places here especially parks get closed at the start of the evening.

We found ourselves standing in a beautiful and radiant garden full of flowers, however, you might be assuming that butterflies were wandering around but that wasn’t the case. In a short while, we stepped in a shed and that’s where the staff member introduced us with these unbelievable creatures before the butterflies, butterflies were maintained in a different shed.

Insects like, leaf insects, stick insects and scorpions were not just displayed, we could feel them and hold them in our hands! Now that makes an interaction with the creatures and animals an interesting one! In fact, they were kept on our shoulders and the way they crawled upwards and downwards made me feel a bit scared but there was really nothing to be scared about! It was actually fun, now when I think about it!

We were here for quite a long time and then we decided to walk further! This is when another shed caught our attention. Now this time, we got to see the butterflies! And again, we didn’t just see them, we felt them as well! There were many kinds of species and of different sizes!

I attracted the one that looked similar to my outfit! And that too, not in my hand but on my head she was! Soon, another butterfly joined too and crawled upwards! So for me, this was the highlight of the day!

We spent some time here and then, the park was all ours to explore! This place was as bright as the butterflies! We looked at the waterfall, the interesting paths and the greenery which was surrounding us by all sides! Although we couldn’t see any butterflies out in the nature, we did see the net above.

Now it was all about being around the props! Photogenic cardboard butterfly props and props of the nature! Every park you visit in this island is filled with unbelievable beauty! Then it was time to explore another section! This one was more of a shop!

Basically, all the lifeless creatures like butterflies and creatures were preserved and these we could see in the form of keychains and other stationary stuff. We bought a few of these and explored this place which was kinda like a museum.

Other than these sheds, this place is all radiant nature and flowers and numerous kinds of trees which we loved exploring! Water lilies is one beautiful example!
