You might have heard of famous beaches like Flic En Flac in Mauritius, however, crowd is a major drawback.

Hence, this blog post is about 5 beaches that I recommend you all to visit if you happen to be in Mauritius!

1- Cap Malheureux Beach

I remember visiting the Notre Dame Church and finding this beach just in front! Surprisingly, although this church is a popular spot, the beach was not crowded at all and we could only see a few people for a wedding photoshoot. This has to be a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset because of its cleanliness and the palms that turn into silhouettes during that time! The combination of pink, orange and blue in the sky added to the aesthetics of the time we had! This can be a perfect spot for enjoying water activities as well as you are likely to find crystal clear water here!

2- Le Morne Beach

Lying in the Rivière Noire District, this beach surprised us with its serene colour in columbia blue shade! With a view of Le Morne mountain just in the back, this beach is extremely clean and beautiful! A perfect time would be in the evening as its extremely hot during the noon! Not just this one but all the viewpoints and beaches that you find in this district look magnificent and much more clean and aesthetic than other spots! Words cannot do justice to the beauty of the nature found in this particular district! You are also likely to find turquoise water beaches here!

3- Île Aux Cerfs Beach

Okay, this one has to be my absolute favourite beach or I should rather say island! This island was our first spot of Catamaran Cruise. A white sand beach with turquoise water, wonderful! You are likely to find cute sea creatures such as urchins here. I remember walking on the finest white sand and it was so much fun! We walked further and not just beach, we even found a lagoon here as well as a side full of palms to eat and relax! This one is highly highly recommended if you love white sand beaches with magnificent views!

4- Bain Boeuf Beach

Another one with no crowd at all especially if you decide to come in the evening! In fact, it was just us during that time! I remember swimming and relaxing in the water along with my mom and sis until it was dark enough to say goodbye! This one too we found clean enough to walk and swim and hence this one too is perfect to enjoy water activities such as snorkelling! Although I do suggest to come a lil early than the sunset as during our time, it got dark pretty quickly.

5- Hibiscus Beach

The last one that I’ll talk about in this post and the last spot we visited in Mauritius! Located in the village of Pereybere, this one too will make you feel mesmerised with its beauty and cleanliness. I remember snorkelling here with my mom and sis early in the morning and conversing with a few natives here! It felt lovely to be under water during this time and we enjoyed to the fullest by swimming! Although there was crowd but it yet felt pleasant because of the cleanliness maintained! This one too is highly recommended!

That’s all about this blog post! although there are many beaches, the ones mentioned in this post are my favourite ones!
