So this was our fourth and last week in Mauritius! From that villa, now we shifted to a home near Grand Baie! This one took a few hours to reach there and we of course decided to cover a few spots that came in between!

The villa that we were living in till then, it was fantastic! But now it was time to shift!

We clicked a few photographs inside the villa and in the garden for memories and then time to sit in the car! I remember us being goofy on the staircases, clicking pictures and breaking of the string of the phone case and then leaving the house!

The very first spot was just 5 minutes away, beach! The beaches here, I must say were all quite clean and not crowded at all!

We stood on the rock, touched the water but ensured that we do not get wet as we had to travel ahead and the fact that the weather looked cloudy! But… the breeze when you’re on the beach hits different! We had a short but such a goofy and amazing time here for around half and hour. Also, crabs were there as well as my dad said. This one was the nearest to the villa we were living in, the one that we went after the catamaran cruise and wanted to visit again! Then, back to car again!

The second and last spot which was the nearest now was, Bras D’eau National Park! Although, not that greatly known but it was as huge and amazing as other spots! It had a forest inside for us to explore and find animals but we couldn’t as it was more than 2 hours long and we of course didn’t had that much time as we had to head to the accommodation!

In the reception, which didn’t looked so interesting from outside, we got to know a lot about the animals here and this national park by two people who spoke hindi. They introduced us with the trek plans.

Even though, we couldn’t go deep in the forest, we did interact with the tortoises who were living inside the cage and this was our third interaction with tortoises in Mauritius! Not just this, the plants and flowers maintained here looked so photogenic! Some time here and then we moved outwards which too looked picturesque because of its deep green, tall wooded trees! We also hugged a tree in between which had a thick wood as its said that you should hug them and be grateful to them and of course, a few clicks! We spent a long time here and then, you know now, back to the car!

I remember eating bread pakoras, trying to listen to other kinds of songs other than our monotonous playlist (which I still love) There were these songs, I do not remember the genre but the beats in it were crazy! We, me and my sister too moved our heads like crazy and vibed with those songs! It took us a few hours to reach and there we were!

The host introduced us with this cute, small house inspired by a character in the series, ‘Friends’ with very efficient features such as a single bed with another one that you can drag outside when in need, which me and my sister shared! A cute living hall and kitchen and then two rooms, upstairs! A pool outside as well! What else do I say, I just loved this tiny house! It also had a few magazines and board games to keep us engaged while we are just at home!

This was our home for a week and then to the airport and then back to India!

This was it that I wanted to share!
