One must visit the best spots located in a country they’re travelling in but exploring without a plan is so fun in itself!
I remember, we wanted to go to the ‘7 coloured earth in Chamarel’ but didn’t as we were tired after a lot of exertion and were late to leave for this spot which was quite far away.
So we decided to just explore!
Our very first spot was a viewpoint somewhere near the Black River Gorges National Park! Let me tell you, the view was breathtaking!
It was a standing viewpoint and extremely sunny! So I was frowning almost the entire time but with sunglasses on, yeahhh! This was one of the most beautiful viewpoints we have seen till now! The colours, so natural and yet so vibrant! It gives such an aquatic and blue aesthetic vibe! Beach, mountain and greens in one frame! However, as this was a standing viewpoint, you do not have anything else to do other than just enjoying the view hence now it was time for the next spot! The route was quite hilly and we somewhat had a road trip too that day!
Next spot was a beach nearest to this viewpoint which was again, a view to die for!
The only thing I wish was that I was a lil more energetic to be able to enjoy such a day to the fullest!
However, again, it was sunny to an extent that it was kinda unbearable! So we tried but couldn’t be there for that long period of time! But it was the calmest and the prettiest beach in Mauritius with a view of Le Morne mountain on the other side! Perfect to enjoy water activities and relax if the weather is a lil cooler!
So, next spot, which was again, a beach! but this one, we could sit under the shade while watching the beach view and that’s when we started to think about the water activities we can enjoy today! Till then, I clicked a lot of selfies! A long time passed and now it started to become a lil boring, so then, ready for the next spot!
Not another spot actually, it was the same beach but somewhere where we could enjoy our meal on the sand, under the shade and after that, the beach! We did! We chit-chatted, ate, laughed, admired the beauty and the current beach life we’re having and I regained my energy so after a while, we ran towards the beach and enjoyed! It was still sunny but this time, a kind of sunny that can be enjoyed when at beach!
We played and enjoyed, clicked many photographs and I felt very energetic by now! This was such a fine beach and not many people were there. The weather wanted to play too hence it became sunny and pleasant then sunny and again pleasant! We all clicked many perfect ‘beach aesthetic’ photos as the time was such!
We enjoyed a lot until we realised that we lost our drone!
Other than that, the day we spent was pretty good after all, mishaps can happen during traveling.
All the spots in Chamarel are fabulous and more fine than many other popular spots in Mauritius! The vibes, views and spots, everything is just amazing!!
